The 2021 Circus International Film Festival Short - Documentary Juried Winner was Awakening directed by Maxim Eruzhenets and Marina Kirakosyan. An honorable mention was awarded to #ClimateofChange by Daniele Poli.
The Audience Choice film was Upswing Presents CIRCUS FLAVOURS from Vicki Dela Amedume.
To recognize the rising popularity and importance of short form content, we created the Under 10 Minutes category for the 2022 CIFF.
The 2022 Circus International Film Festival Short - Under 10 Minutes Juried Winner was Jessica from Clara Rodríguez Arasanz. An honorable mention was awarded to Beneath by Roger Robinson.
As our largest category, we presented festival attendees to select a First, Second, and Third Audience Choice. The First Audience Choice film was Outlet by Fernando Miro, Second Audience Choice went to No One Care About Skill from Jacob Hinga, and Third Audience Choice was awarded to Wasteland from Briana Bowie.
The 2022 Circus International Film Festival Short - Non-Documentary Juried Winner was And Now What created by Ines Talbi. An honorable mention was awarded to Circus Person directed by Britt Lower.
The Audience Choice film was Circus Pop Ups from Felicity Hesed.
